The Final Seconds

While sitting watching waves one morning, my mate Luke pointed out how these bumps on the ocean had travelled so far.

Many thousands of miles.

Many thousands of miles from where they were formed during a storm far out in the ocean.

But the part that we see.

The part that we experience.

The part that many ride with their board.

Is only the final few seconds of their journey.

Over this past quiet winter at home in Wales, I followed friends around the coast on their missions to experience these final seconds.
